Blessings were meant to be kind, not infuriating

Many of you must be wondering, "What happened to the kind Elmendorf gate guard" who was the highlight of many peoples' day? He (got in trouble) for using the name "God."

When did it become a crime to care about, pray for and love people that you don't even know?

The atheist(s) who put in the complaint said that the word God offended them. According to their official Web site, God is nothing more than an imaginary man in the sky, equivalent to Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. If that is true, then why get so upset by a blessing from an imaginary being?

The atheists also claim to love all mankind, so why then was there a complaint made, and his job maliciously sought after? That doesn't sound too loving too me.

Throughout history people have ridiculed and destroyed that which they fear, don't understand or have a misunderstanding about. It seems to me that freedom of speech is reserved only for those who agree with the complaints of the noise makers.

This country's leaders, with the persistence of a loud group of nonbelievers, can take God out of everything that they want, but it won't take away the Christian faith. If someone can be fired for using the name God, what will someone be fired for next?

An individual will always be judged by their character and heart. It matters not what your beliefs are.
