Air Force Airman 1st Class James H. Manco graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Manco is a 2009 graduate of Chugiak High School. He is the son of Stephanie and Jim Manco of Eagle River. Army National Guard Pvt. Matthew J. Lauer has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Ky. Lauer is the son of Virginia McMichael and Michael Lauer of Chugiak.
Marine Corps Pvt. Logan DeMarcus graduated from basic military training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. He is a 2008 graduate of Chugiak High School. Logan is the son of Diane Hoffbauer and Brian DeMarcus of Eagle River.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Jesse E DeLong graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2009 graduate of Eagle River High School.
