Trio of drunken drivers halted

Naomi Morrison, 27, of Chugiak, was arrested for driving under the influence after she was stopped on North Eagle River Access Road Oct. 22. Her blood alcohol was half the legal limit, but she told officers she was also taking prescription drugs. She was arrested and taken to the Anchorage Jail.

Dustin Patterson, 28, of Eagle River, was arrested for DUI after an officer stopped him on Eagle River Loop Road Oct. 24 for not having a front license plate. Patterson's blood alcohol was 1.5 times the legal limit. He was taken to the Anchorage Jail.

Henry Perez, 18, of Palmer, was stopped for DUI Oct. 25 after he was observed by an officer driving erratically along Eastside Drive. His blood alcohol was just above the legal limit of .08. He was taken to the Anchorage Jail.

Charges are merely accusations; defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty at trial or until a plea of guilty is accepted by the court.
