Chugiak Fourth of July Parade winners

Winning entrants for the 39th annual Chugiak Fourth of July Parade were announced following the parade. The Antique Power Club of Alaska claimed the judge's choice award for its entry, which included multiple tractors.

Other winners included Cub Scout Troop 228, which won best boy; “My Little Ponies,” featuring Cassie, Aurora, Alana and Sedona Jones, won for best girl.

The Rural Discount Center truck was named the best commercial entry. The best vehicle entry went to the Midnight Sun Street Rod Organization for all the classic cars driving in the parade.

The Daring Mustangs 4H Club won the best animal award for its group of horses and riders. The best nonprofit award went to the Alaska Outdoor Access Alliance and its monster off-road vehicles.

The Veterans Memorial Museum won the most patriotic title for its floats that featured veterans and current members of the armed forces.

The Chugiak Red Hat Renegades, riding in a horse drawn wagon, won the best decorated division.
