Woman leaves baby unattended
Police got a report that a baby was left unattended in a vehicle at in the Carrs parking lot at 5 p.m. June 21. The driver came back to the vehicle and was met by an officer. The driver said she had gone inside the liquor store for two minutes to purchase a bottle of wine and left her 3-year-old child in the car seat in the back of the vehicle. The officer explained it is illegal to leave a child unattended in a vehicle. No citation was issued.
