The Eagle River bowling team is on quite a roll.

The Wolves swept the Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League titles Thursday, with the ERHS girls winning their third straight league title (and fifth since 2014), while the boys claimed their second championship in the last three seasons.

The girls team completed a perfect season during placement round matches at Jewel Lake Bowl in Anchorage, knocking off Dimond 26-9 to remain undefeated. Alexia Jennings had a match-high 188 for the Wolves, who also won back-to-back league titles in 2014-15.

The Eagle River boys lost their first match of the season Thursday, but still came out on top in the standings. The Wolves fell 18-17 to second-place Dimond, with Brendan Iaulualo rolling a match-high 216 to lead the champions. The Wolves also won the league in 2017, when the school also swept the boys and girls titles.

The Chugiak boys defeated Bartlett 33-2 Thursday to claim fourth place in the boys standings. Dillon Dittbrenner rolled a 192 to lead the Mustangs.

The Chugiak girls fell 33-2 to South in the final match and finished seventh overall. Jadyn Moore had a 193 to lead Chugiak Thursday.
