Wolves post top scores in prep bowling wins

Another week, another sweep.

Eagle River bowlers posted two of the week’s top three individual scores for the second consecutive week en route to an Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League sweep at the Eagle River Bowl.

Allison Szewczyk rolled a match-best 216 to lead the Eagle River girls to a 35-0 win over South, while Brendan Iaulualo had a 215 to help the Eagle River boys to a 28-7 win over South. Both teams are undefeated this season.

Spring Harris posted a 205 for the Eagle River girls, who have won four of the last five league titles and the past two in a row.

The Chugiak girls posted a 33-2 win over West behind a team-high 182 from Jadyn Moore. Dillon Dittbrenner had a team-best 144 for the Chugiak boys, which fell 33-2 to West.
