APD seeks robbery suspects in Eagle River
The Anchorage Police Department on Monday was seeking a pair of robbery suspects believed to be in Eagle River.
The department sent out a public bulletin at around 4 p.m. saying a black man and Native female had allegedly ditched a stolen white pick-up truck at the Shell station in Eagle River after robbing a coffee stand in Muldoon earlier in the day.
The woman is described in her mid to late 20s with long dark hari with highlights and wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and Ugg boots rolled down to reval the fur cuff. The man is described as a black male wearing a gray sweatshirt with dark gray sleeves and a light gray body with a cap on his head. Police said he is thought to be armed with a handgun and cautioned people not to approach the pair.
The department later released photos of both suspects and cautioned people in Eagle River not to leave their cars running.

At 1:34 PM on January 8, 2017, a armed black male and native female, driving a stolen vehicle, robbed the Alaska Sweet Cup Coffee Stand at 1467 Muldoon Road. The pair left with an undisclosed amount of money; there were no injuries.
The stolen white truck was later located, unoccupied, at the Shell gas station in Eagle River. The suspect pair attempted to steal a car at Jalapenos Restaurant but were unsuccessful. There is concern the two will attempt to steal another vehicle. Please do not approach them but call 9-1-1 if you see them.
