Police seek woman arrested last month in Eagle River after Mt. View escape

A woman accused of trying to cash a stolen check while in a stolen car last month in Eagle River was on the loose after she allegedly escaped police custody Tuesday, Oct. 10 in Mountain View.

According to the Anchorage Police Department, Brandy Nolcini, 24, was being arrested in the area of North Flower Street and Thompson Avenue when she escaped while still wearing handcuffs. Nolcini was wanted on an outstanding warrant for vehicle tampering.

Nolcini is described by police as standing 5-foot-6 and weighs approximately 195 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

According to court records, her arrest on Sept. 21 in downtown Eagle River was her second that week. She was released on bail after that incident, which saw her bound by her hands and feet and placed head-first into the back of an APD squad car by several officers.

Nolcini’s most recent case number is 17-41661. According to the online Courtview database, she had five open cases — all filed since Sept. 17, 2017.
